Leírás: A KLIN Szemészeti Kft. 1995. novemberében alakult. Magánrendelőnk a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Szemészeti Klinikájának épületében működik, az egyetemmel együttműködésben. Ennek megfelelően részt veszünk a graduális, posztgraduális magyar és angol nyelvű oktatásban, és a tudományos munkában. A cég fő tevékenysége az úgynevezett excimer lézeres dioptria-korrekció, azaz lézeres látásjavítás, és a kreatoconus UV fényes kezelése. A lézeres látásjavítás célja a szem fénytörési hibáinak (rövidlátás, túllátás, astigmatizmus) megszüntetése, csökkentése. Kívánatos esetben így a beavatkozás után nem kell sem szemüveget, sem kontaklencsét viselni, illetve kisebb dioptriára lesz szükség, köszönhetően a lézeres látásjavítás eljárásának. A lézeres látásjavítás mellett 2008-tól a szaruhártya kiboltosulásos betegségeit is kezelni tudjuk (pl. keratoconus) az UV-X módszerrel. Ezen eljárás célja a betegség előrehaladásának meggátlása, lassítása, amely révén elkerülhető, vagy késleltethető a minden szempontból megterhelőbb szaruhártya-átültetés. Ezeken kívül általános szemészeti ellátást és egyéb szemműtéteket is végzünk (pl. szürkehályog).(Weblap.www.klinkft.hu)
